For high profile rims. The advantage of this type of valve extender is that the valve core is protruding from the rim, not the hollow end of an extender. The advantages of this type of extender are, adjustment of tire pressure, either inflation or deflation due to the fact that the valve core can be manually opened or closed, no matter how deep the rim is. Extensions are equipped with a rubber O ring seal, no Teflon tape is required. World Class Cycles anodized aluminum alloy valve extensions are available in sizes 15, 20, 30, 40, 50mm & 60mm. Tufo aluminum alloy extenders are available in 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 mm, 70mm super long. Stainless steel valve extenders (s/s) are available in 30 & 40 mm lengths, although these are marginally heaver, their strength is many times that of the alloy extenders, great for off road or cyclocross or when ever a more robust extender is desired. All can be stacked for even greater length.
